The Linguistic Association of Pakistan (LAP) in collaboration with the University of Balochistan (UoB) is planning to announce the International Conference on Linguistics (ICL). This conference aims to bring international and national researchers, scholars, and practitioners together to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the field of linguistics and literature.

Participants are invited to submit abstracts of their papers for presentation at the conference. The abstracts should be between 150-200 words and should include the title, objectives, methodology, and key findings.
To provide a platform for researchers to present and discuss their latest research findings.
To foster collaboration and networking among the professionals of linguistics, Language and Literature.

The upcoming linguistics conference will be conducted in a hybrid format. This mode of delivery will enable participation from a global audience, virtually, facilitating broader engagement and collaboration across diverse linguistic communities. Note: For in-person presentations, if multiple authors are presenting a paper, the first author will pay 3500 PKR, and each additional author will pay 2500 PKR. For online presentations, only the first author is required to pay 2000 PKR.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the conference submission portal.
All submissions will be reviewed by the review committee.
Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified as per the deadline given on the website iclap.org.
Full papers should be submitted by the deadline given on the website for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Electronic abstract book will be published before the conference dates.
Please make sure to include the following information (in the given order) in your abstract:
1. The tilte of your paper: The words in the title should be initially capitalized and thier number should not exceed 12.
2. Author name(s), affiliation(s) and emial ID(s)
3. Body of the abstract: Body of the abstract should be between 150-200 words, covering the following:
a) Background/Introduction
b) Problem
c) Research objective/purpose/question
d) Scope/limitations
e) Methodology [design/approach/instruments/procedure]
f) Results/findings/conclusions
g) Implications/beneficiaries
4. All paragraphs should be left- and right-justified with font TimesNewRoman, font size 12 and the line spacing 1.
5. Keywords: Their number should not exceed 6
6. References: Minimum 2 references are required and the maximum limit is 5. The APA citation style should be followed preferably.
The abstracts not confirming to the above guidelines may not be considered for review.
